Δ 英文正確用法指引(二) - 31 基數與序數

Today is March twenty-first. -----> O
Today is March twenty-one. -----> X
已經學會的基數數目字"one"、"two"、"three"後，再認識的序數"first"、"second"、"third"，常常會弄錯。
簡單來說，基數適用來形容人或物的數量，如：一輛車 one car，兩輛車 two cars，三個男人 three men；而序數則是用來表示次序、位置、日期，如：第一個人 the first person，二樓 the second floor，六月四日 the fourth of June。

Christmas is on December twenty-fifth.
I live on the eleventh floor.
The third person from the left is my uncle.
This is the second time he fell off his bike.
