Δ 英文正確用法指引(二) - 35 否定式

He did not finish his homework. -----> O
He not finished his homework. ------> X

要把句子改為否定式時，一般須加上“not“，但是“not“並不能隨便加在句中，而是有一定的規則，而且有時還須加上適當的助動詞，如：“does“，“did“等。以簡單過去式來說，要變成否定式時，便要加上助動詞“did“，並在“did“之後加上“not“，然後接著原形動詞。

Δ如果句子中有助動詞，便需要把“not“加在助動詞之後：
- She will not buy a new dress.

Δ簡單現在式時，須加上助動詞“do / does“，再加上“not“，然後才能加原形動詞；簡單過去式時，須加上助動詞“did“，再加上“not“和原形動詞：
- They do not go to school together.

Δ只有“be動詞“的句子，只在“be動詞“後加上“not“：
- They were not good students when they were young.

Δ如句子中有“some“、“something“、“somebody“等字，一般需要把他們改為“any“、“anything“、“anybody“等：
- She does not know anybody in this shop.
